PREPARATION
There’s so much more to a successful delivery than simply provisioning the boat and grabbing a few buddies. Quotes learned long ago are used to frame every delivery made.
A myriad of factors go into each of these topics below for a successful delivery.
Destination, Routing, Accessible Harbors, Provisions and Services available along the way, Bridge Clearance, Weather, Tides, Current, Shifting Bars, Average Boat Speed, Max Boat Speed, Fuel Capacity, Burn Rate, Fresh Water Capacity, Condition of: (engine, generator, running gear, rigging, sails, ground tackle, electro-mechanical systems), Electronics, Back up Electronics, Paper Charts, USCG & Safety Equipment, First Aid, Inventory of tools on board, Inventory of spares on board: (engine fluids, filters, belts, impellers, pumps, running lights), Watch Schedule, Menu and Contingency Plan.
We offer peace of mind to our clients that all of these issues are suitably addressed and sufficiently prepared for in every way possible.
Captain: $500 per contract day
Licenced Crew: $275 per contract day
Able Body Crew: $225 per contract day
*Offshore deliveries of three (3) days or more require two (2) paid crew in addition to Captain.
a) Departure Travel Costs: Any and all fees incurred by captain & crew to facilitate the following: Any pre-inspection necessary to verify condition / seaworthiness of the vessel; Arrival at the port of departure, including (airfare, luggage, shuttle, parking, personal vehicle mileage, taxi/uber etc); pre-departure preparations and provisioning.
b) Return Travel Costs: Any and all fees incurred by captain & crew to facilitate their return, each to their own home (as listed above).
c) Per Diem Food Expense: ($36 per person / per day) for captain & crew.
d) One Full Day Paid: For vessel preparation pre departure. Plus (+) One half Day Paid For vessel cleaning post delivery.
e) GPS Satellite Tracking and Communication Data - Included

f) On Shore Lodging: Sometimes when delivering to a new Charter Fleet / Management Company, the new organization may want immediate access once the vessel has cleared customs, and has been fully cleaned by the delivery crew. If the delivery captain and crew are forced to surrender the vessel prior to their scheduled return air travel, any fees associated with "On Shore Lodging" ( while awaiting air travel) will be the added responsibility of the client .
g) *SUPPLEMENTAL REPAIR LABOR : Any Repair labor (made by captain and/or crew) required to remedy (either permanently or temporarily ) any mechanical deficiency discovered enroute rendering the vessel compromised or unsafe will be billed at a rate of $65 per man hour and is SUPPLEMENTAL to all pricing referenced herein as a "contract day" OR "daily rate".
