PREPARATION
There’s so much more to a successful delivery than simply provisioning the boat and grabbing a few buddies. Quotes learned long ago are used to frame every delivery made.
A myriad of factors go into each of these topics below for a successful delivery.
Destination, Routing, Accessible Harbors, Provisions and Services available along the way, Bridge Clearance, Weather, Tides, Current, Shifting Bars, Average Boat Speed, Max Boat Speed, Fuel Capacity, Burn Rate, Fresh Water Capacity, Condition of: (engine, generator, running gear, rigging, sails, ground tackle, electro-mechanical systems), Electronics, Back up Electronics, Paper Charts, USCG & Safety Equipment, First Aid, Inventory of tools on board, Inventory of spares on board: (engine fluids, filters, belts, impellers, pumps, running lights), Watch Schedule, Menu and Contingency Plan.
We offer peace of mind to our clients that all of these issues are suitably addressed and sufficiently prepared for in every way possible.
